i continue to believe that adopting another cat has been a great thing for our family. likely because duke is the friendliest thing ever. especially when we adopted him at age three and bringing him into our family when leighton was just nine months old. unlike the grumpy first child of our family, sir thomas, who really likes only his mama. if he ever cuddled up to one of the girls like this – or anyone else for that matter – i'd likely faint.
and what were these two besties up to? they were watching the cooking channel. this is camryn's activity of choice before heading up to nap. you can tell your child has enjoyed many an episode of giada when she's using words like "moise" and "tender" when cooking up dishes in her play kitchen.
