week 4 – project life 2013

project life week 4 a - melanie bauer

posting these with a delay here, but i’m happy to say that i’m essentially current with this year’s project life album.  tonight i plan to tackle last week and hopefully i’ll be able to do a week for last year’s album as well this weekend.  my weekend will essentially be packing and project life.

project life week 4 b - melanie bauer

this week started off with andy being off work for the mlk holiday.  always a treat to have him home on a weekday, especially as the girls didn’t have school either.  daddy made everyone sesame street pancakes.  we played go fish.  we worked on our january kiwicrate by painting postcards with watercolors and oil pastels to mimic the norther lights.  the boys watching the mizzou game.

project life week 4 c - melanie bauer

my handsome boy rocking a fleece vest – ridiculous but cute.  my amazing sister-in-law snagged me a pint and a quart of my favorite flavor of custard.  hello kitty toys were back in happy meals.

project life week 4 d - melanie bauer

a new berenstain bear book for camryn’s ever growing collection.  waiting to pick up camryn from school.  skyping with nana and papi.  another kiwicrate activity – picking up ice with a piece of string.

project life week 4 e - melanie bauer

super chilly weather.  our church’s sunday school mission project for the second half of the year.  a lovely quote from camryn.  i’m not sure how many more babies we’ll be having but she’s been doling out names left and right lately.  at least this name is better than when she wanted to name carson “razormouth” as noted in last year’s album.

continuing to love this project.  such a great way to spend some me time after a long day.  this week i had to rearrange my project supplies a bit as we prepare to list our condo.  keeping them out of sight, but still easy for me to get to.  my philosophy is definitely less is more with this project.
