things are crazy here. sometimes crazy good. other times, crazy treading water to keep up with everything going on. making the most out of less than idea situations like a rare weeknight dinner out because of house showings. with a handsome boy like this as a dinner date, how could you not smile?
we were thrilled to hear that the girls were accepted to both schools we applied for in ohio and yesterday we made the final decision of where to send them. so exciting to have something else checked off the mountain of need-to-be-dones before we move. now our real focus is definitely selling our home here and finding a new one there.
and of course, birthday season is upon us. tomorrow i’ll have a five year old – WHAT?! then we’ll have another birthday in 10 days. and yet another two weeks after that. needless to say, we’ll all be riding a sugar high from multiple cakes laden with frosting.
speaking of, i’m in the process of making a cinderella cake. something i most definitely never saw myself doing.

ooh love the date night with that cutie…I know that when selling our house, cooking was done. Everything was easy pick out of the fridge and go because they always came at dinner time. I was not cooking at 9 pm. Good luck and congrats on a school!
