This sticky sweet Slow Cooker Cherry Cola Pulled Pork takes less than 10 minutes to prepare which guarantees it's perfect for dinner any night of the week.
In a six quart slow cooker, place pork shoulder roast with the fat cap side down.TIP: I like to make this recipe in this slow cooker – it comes in 4, 6 or 8 quart options – or using the slow cooker function of my Instant Pot. If using your Instant Pot, you’ll want to use the tempered glass lid instead of the top that comes with it and is used for pressure cooking.
Sprinkle paprika, salt, ground mustard, garlic powder and brown sugar over pork.
Flip pork should so that fat cap is now position on top. Pour cherry cola over pork.TIP: While cooking, having the fat cap on top will act as a natural baster as the fat travels along the outside of the pork shoulder insuring a moist and delicious piece of meat.
Cook on LOW for 10 hours.
Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with two forks before returning to slow cooker insert.
