With just four ingredients and 15 minutes, this No Bake Oreo Dark Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake will be ready and waiting for you in the fridge come time for dessert. An amazingly easy, seasonal showstopper.
If you ask me, and I’ll pretend you did, chocolate and peppermint is always a winning flavor combination, especially around the holidays. I just can’t get enough! Last year, the local pie shop I frequent – doesn’t everyone have one of those? – had a chocolate cream pie with peppermint whipped cream that was insanely good. As in, for my birthday in July I called them up to see if they could make me this seasonal only flavor for me. And they did!
I’ve already placed my order for this year – and ordered two pies instead of one! – but in the meantime, just thinking of this pie inspired me to try to recreate that winning combination in my own kitchen.
The end result? A four ingredientNo Bake Oreo Dark Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake that takes just minutes to prepare. The hardest part is allowing it time to sit in the fridge to completely set up. A few quick garnishes later, and you have a dessert perfect for a night at home or a holiday party with friends. That is, if you are kind enough to share.
The ingredient giving this no bake cheesecake that amazing holiday inspired flavor? Robert Rothschild Farm’s Dark Chocolate Peppermint Sauce. This sauce is so good it’s dangerous! Smooth dark chocolate and cool peppermint are blended to create this smooth and refreshing dessert topping. It steals the show not only as the flavor agent for the filling but also as a final garnish on top.
