this morning was the annual easter egg hunt that friends of ours have invited us to the past three years. it’s on a culdesac with all the families participating and each child is able to find 10 eggs, each filled with a specific kind of jellybeans due to a few allergies among the kids. it’s a great time and this morning’s weather was beautiful. it was awesome to see the difference in the girls from last year where C was a bit timid and L was too young to truly participate. we also were wearing hats to keep ears warm last year!
this was definitely my favorite photo captured from the event. after all the eggs had been found, the bigger kids were playing around and L settled herself down on the curb with a handful of jellybeans. a happy girl indeed.
