apparently we had a lot going on during week four as i ended up with my typical two page spread plus two inserts. love having a home for all the little bits and pieces of our week.
this is the weekly spread minus the inserts. after just finishing these latest pages on sunday, they've already been well loved by the girls flipping through the album on the coffee table the past two days. a great motivation to keep up!
[left page] a fort that i built for the girls to entertain them on a winter morning. a bath tub drawing by C. photos of the girls calling to wish their papi a happy birthday.
[right page] L with our favorite librarian. lunch with a friend. documenting a part of L's vocabulary which we find hilarious. our original baby – and what happens to be the only time i included me in this week's spread. a label from C's first pair of non-toddler jeans. the girls waiting for C's dance class to start. enjoying a care package from nana.
[insert one – front and back] potty training adventures with L. a receipt for gas. me finally figuring out that if i cut a placemat down, it can fit in between the two trays of L's high chair. bath time with daddy. a story about C wanting to go eat at "the flying buffalo" and a photo of her coloring in the lines for the first time, or at least that we had noticed.
[insert two – front] C's coloring sheet from buffalo wild wings. she was stressed she didn't have a green for the grass so we were having an impromptu art session where i was teaching her how to create other colors from the three primary ones she had.
the back of the insert has a letter from C's preschool confirming her spot in next year's class. can't believe she's half way through her first year of school
