it’s week three of our super summer schedule. feeling triumphant as we tackled every item but one on last week’s list! had i actually remembered to pick up glue on last week’s target run, we would’ve done them all.
here’s what we’ll be doing this week :
make something monday : make bouncy balls. the one activity from last week that we didn’t get to because i couldn’t find what box our glue was in and then failed to pick some up at target. looking forward to this one!
take a trip tuesday : playdate at the park. we have a play date scheduled with a family a couple of streets away. the mom was actually running while pushing two kids in a jogging stroller the day our moving truck arrived and actually stopped mid-run to introduce herself. last week she dropped a lovely note in our mailbox with her e-mail address and phone number in case we ever wanted to set up a playdate or get drinks. i haven’t mentioned that i love our new neighborhood yet today, have i?
wet + wild wednesday : water blob. i’ll be honest and say this is likely a project for next weekend when andy’s around and i’ve made my billionth trip to lowe’s for plastic sheeting, but i have no doubt it’ll be an awesome activity for all three kids.
thinking thursday : library. we got library cards last week and hope to explore another library branch this week. we’re lucky that we have many to choose from!
fresh + fun friday : diy sidewalk paint. i’ve had this pinned for two years and know that the girls will love decorating the driveway.
from last week’s super summer schedule :

rainbow bubble snakes. these were a definite hit! they were so easy to set up and it kept the girls entertained for a good half hour. we did both plain bubbles and then added food coloring and although the color was awesome, it will stain hands and clothes if you aren’t careful. we’ll be making bubble snakes again soon!
