meant to get this up yesterday but it was one of those weekends…
two layouts completed last week – woot! that means i’m ahead of my one layout/week goal. the first one is of C at the same age as L is now. look at all that hair! i truly didn’t realize how lucky she was to have so much hair at that age as L barely has enough to put a bow in. documenting looking through the cat door to catch a glimpse of daddy as he walks in the door each evening. C still does this and L joins in. every once in a while, thomas joins in as well. usually because he’s actually trying to get through the cat door. definitely makes daddy happy to see the faces of his two girls peering down at him.
the second layout is also from 2009. at the end of each residency year, there is a dinner to honor that year’s chief(s). only a couple of years left until we can celebrate our resident! ironically, one of the chiefs from that year is now an attending who andy enjoys working with whenever he gets a chance. our other friend is now in colorado but we were able to see them this past summer.
