A review of Goldfish Swim School’s Jump Start Clinics. Five consecutive days of swimming lessons to brush up on elementary swim skills and water safety.

In our house, learning to swim is a non-negotiable. The oldest three began swimming lessons at five months and have gone year round since. I was thrilled when I found Goldfish Swim School here as it was similar to the swim school we had gone to in Wisconsin so it was a relatively seamless transition for everyone.
One of the features that I’ve loved and we’ve taken advantage of the past two summers is their Jump Start Clinics. Instead of a 30 minute lesson once a week, as usual, these clinics offer five days of consecutive swim lessons. The girls both did this last year with amazing results. I’ve since recommended them to several friends.
This year, I registered Carson for a Jump Start Clinic. Unlike the girls, he’s hesitant at times at swimming but things have really started to click and I wanted to continue the momentum. Once again, it proved to be a great decision. His teacher for the week, Ryan, was absolutely incredible. He continually boosted Carson’s confidence in the water and pushed him to meet the skills outlined for his current class level. At the end of the week, he only had two skills left to master before advancing and he’s only been in this level since April.
