Thanks to an ingredient shortcut, this Apple Pie Biscuit Casserole comes together in just 10 minutes. This comforting dish is equally perfect for a lazy weekend breakfast or dressed up holiday brunch.

brown sugar

21-ounce can
apple pie filling

teaspoon
cinnamon
1
teaspoon
vanilla

16.3-ounce can
refrigerated biscuits

cup
chopped pecans
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt better.
Stir in brown sugar, pie filling, cinnamon and vanilla.
Spoon half of pie filling mixture onto bottom of shallow two quart casserole dish, spreading evenly.
Tear each biscuit into four pieces and place on top of pie filling mixture in an even layer.
Pour remaining pie filling mixture over biscuits.
Sprinkle with pecans.
Bake for 40 minutes or until golden and biscuits are cooked through.
