These Stone Fruit and Yogurt Popsicles are my ticket to reaching cool mama status. Literally and figuratively speaking. I mean, when I offer my children a popsicle for breakfast – BREAKFAST! – you know that heads or going to turn with a look of disbelief and then of complete appreciation. Little do they know, the joke is on them.
These popsicles are my answer to finding a way to utilize any remaining fruit in the fridge at the end of the week. Why purchase something store bought that’s laden with ingredients you can’t pronounce when you can not only make your own, but control the quality of ingredients used to prepare them as well?
Mangos, nectarines and plums are blended together before being layered with honey sweetened Greek yogurt. Not only are these Stone Fruit and Yogurt Popsicles loaded with fresh fruit, but they also pack a protein punch thanks to the yogurt. I also love the flecks of color swirled throughout thanks to blending the fruits whole, rather than peeling them.
These popsicles aren’t my first of the breakfast variety. I’ve also won over my children with my Honey Roasted Grapefruit Parfait Popsicles. Breakfast has never been easier than simply opening the freezer and reaching in for a treat that’s also good for you. Of course, if you’re looking for a popsicle of the dessert variety, look no further than my decadent Dulce de Leche Chocolate Pudding Popsicles or my coffee shop inspired Salted Caramel Mocha Popsicles.
What could be more fun as the weather turns warmer than hosting a popsicle party with a variety of flavors? A spread featuring these Stone Fruit and Yogurt Popsicles, colorful Easy Healthy Rainbow Popsicles, sweet Cookies and Coconut Cream Popsicles and Refreshing Coconut Water Pineapple Popsicles would no doubt be the hit of the summer!
