This Cinnamon Cool Whip Frosting comes together in less than five minutes and just four ingredients. All of which you likely have hanging out in your kitchen already.
Does Cool Whip Frosting Need to Be Refrigerated?
Yes! Not only does this Cinnamon Cool Whip Frosting need to be refrigerated as the main ingredient is Cool Whip, but storing it in the fridge also allows it to set up and acquire a thicker, frosting like texture.
This dreamy frosting is perfect for anything your heart desires. It would be a winning combination on top of my Chocolate Pudding Fudge Cake and is insanely delicious on my Apple Piecaken!
It also would be drool worthy between two of my Soft and Chewy Ginger Cookies and makes a delicious fruit dip for strawberries. The sky’s the limit on your creativity with this frosting recipe!

How to Make Cinnamon Cool Whip Frosting
[1] In a medium bowl, add instant pudding mix and milk.
[2] Whisk together instant pudding mix and milk until thickened, approximately one minute.
[3] Add Cool Whip and cinnamon to bowl.
[4] Gently fold in Cool Whip and cinnamon until throughly combined.
TIP: Looking for a different flavor of Cool Whip frosting? My Chocolate Cool Whip Frosting is always a hit!
How to Fold Cool Whip
Folding is a method used to gently mix ingredients. This technique is used to mix light and airy ingredients into a heavier mixture.
[1] Using a rubber spatula, cut through the center of the bowl and through the middle of the Cool Whip.
[2] To fold, go to the bottom of the bowl and pull the spatula toward you, scooping up some of the pudding with the spatula. In one sweeping motion fold over the scooped up portion of the pudding over the whipped cream.
[3] Turn your bowl a quarter turn and repeat until the mixture is combined.
