After we welcomed our second child to the world seven years ago – SEVEN?! – her godmother not only blessed us with an amazing home cooked meal, but a batch of Cake Mix Cookies for a sweet treat as well.  I tell you, the best gift you can give a new mother is food and those cookies?  Well, they’re so incredibly easy.  They’re also the inspiration behind these Funfetti Chocolate Chip Cake Mix Cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 18.9- ounce box Funfetti cake mix
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sprinkles
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients.
  • Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop dough onto baking sheets.
  • Bake for 7-9 minutes or until set.
  • Let cool on baking sheet 2-3 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
