A peek inside of our family life and what we’re up to at home, week by week.

Did I mention I locked all of us out of the house after picking up Camryn from school on Tuesday? I had my house keys in my coat pocket but neglected to wear my coat in the afternoon. We got home, everyone was getting out and I was frantic trying to find my keys. I then figured out what I had done and started trying to get a hold of Andy and my sister-in-law. After trying to call both of them twice with no luck, I figured instead of sitting in the driveaway we might as well go somewhere and we headed to Target. Luckily Andy called on our way there and was able to leave soon after to rescue us. As luck would have it, I found this shirt for Carson while we were there of Andy’s favorite band. The silver lining of my less than awesome stunt.

My lunch as of late. Baby spring salad mix, lots of veggies, hard boiled eggs and homemade croutons made from the most amazing whole grain bread that’s under Giant Eagle’s house label. Seriously, that bread is insanely delicious. Everything is drizzled in a homemade balsamic vinegarette. After three weeks, I haven’t tired of it yet.

This smile! Tell her she’s pretty and she’ll usually flash you a smile. I mean, who wouldn’t smile if people were lavishing you with compliments on a daily basis?

Carson moved up a level in swimming lessons so now instead of swimming at the same time as the girls, he has lessons right after them which means we’re back to using the iPad to keep everyone entertained. As much as I love technology, we limit screen time – both TV and other electronics – with the menagerie, so it’s a treat when they use it for doctor’s appointments and during swimming lessons.
