A review and opportunity to win Nicole Reaves’ 20 Questions book, a birthday interview book for kids.

It’s honest time, friends. I was talking to my friend Sara last night about how we’re so busy and that at times, something just has to give. For me, it’s been scrapbooking. I haven’t touched anything at all this year. I miss it and miss documenting our family’s activities but as I’ve yet to find a way to get a few extra hours into my day, it’s been something I’ve had to let fall by the wayside. I’m hoping to get back to it in the coming weeks, especially as the end of school winds down and our days get a bit less schedule-oriented.
One of the amazing women that I’ve come across in the scrapbooking world also happens to be sponsoring Melanie Makes this month. And little did she know, it was perfect timing! Nicole has created 20 Questions, a birthday interview book for kids. For someone like me who hasn’t been documenting as much as she’d like, it’s the perfect solution!

The book starts at age 3 and goes all the way to age 18. I already can’t wait to see how the answers to each question evolves over the years! The book is laid out so that it couldn’t be easier to use. The left side is blank and is the perfect place to add a photo of your child on their birthday or even let them draw a picture of themselves or something that they love now. Endless opportunities.

The right page lists 20 questions for your child to answer. Everything from their favorite color to their favorite holiday. It was so fun to go through these with the girls. Most answers I could guess, like how Camryn’s favorite animal is the peregrine falcon (Thank you, Wild Kratts!), or how Leighton favorite books were the Mouse and Mole series the school librarian just introduced her to. But then there were others that I had to stifle a laugh at. Like how Leighton wants to be a princess when she grows up. Oh my.
I can’t say enough good things about these books. It’s an absolute genius product. Even Andy wondered why he hadn’t thought of it! That says a lot.
Nicole is so generous that she’s allowing me to give away one of her 20 Questions book to a MM reader in your choice of colors. See the giveaway widget below to enter.
For those of you who do scrapbook or are a crafty type, Nicole also offers a PDF questionnaire in her Etsy shop that allows you to create your own album.
Wouldn’t this be a great birthday gift for the child who has everything or really doesn’t need anything? The perfect keepsake!

Nicole provided me with three books to review so that I could interview my own children. All thoughts and opinions, as always, are my own.
