it’s week four of our super summer schedule. i didn’t make a schedule last week as camryn had camp each morning, but we’re back at it this week!
here’s what we’ll be doing this week :
make something monday : cereal bracelets. the perfect mid-morning snack time activity.
take a trip tuesday : park. we haven’t really ventured out to any local parks as of yet. time to put a stop to that!
wet + wild wednesday : fun with ice. ice is water, right? because the weather has been so cool, the slip n slide or pool don’t seem like great ideas. instead, we’ll give this a try. they can still play with (frozen) water, but not get cold doing it.
thinking thursday : animals in winter experiment. the perfect activity to take outside.
fresh + fun friday : fireworks in a dish. talk about easy! love that i already have everything on hand for this.

diy sidewalk paint. i considered this one a fail on my part, but the girls were none the wiser and still enjoyed it for a good half hour before moving on to something else. i couldn’t get the right ratio of water to cornstarch so the paint seemed too liquidy to me. can definitely see us trying this again in the future.
