i honestly didn't think i was going to get a layout done this week. this week after being gone for a week has about done me in. trying to get everyone back on schedule and routines, a toddler that's two and a baby trying to get a tooth and then who spiked a fever thanks to her six month vaccinations. i tell you, there's never a dull moment around here!
last night, i was getting read to start on this layout when i realized that C didn't have any fall dress shoes to wear to church this am. so off to target i go. and of course, target sucks you in, and an hour later i'm home and decided to get to work on it at 9p. nice.
this layout features photos of C with her great grandparents. the only time she was able to meet her great grandfather and the first of only two times to meet her great grandmother. they were beyond smitten with that girl. obviously these photos are very dear to us. so glad to have them on a page to put in our 2008 album.
i seem to be doing a lot of 2008 pages as of late. i print my photos at the end of each month and then when i'm finally done with an envelope or don't have any more stories to tell from them, then they're moved to a different box. i have half of 2008 to current to work on. it's nice to be able to jump around and fun to see the differences in our lives from a little C to know with an older C and of course, now with L in our lives.
