Raise your hand if you love the classic sweet and salty flavor combination. Me, too! When we had friends over for the Super Bowl earlier this year, I made a white chocolate popcorn with chocolate candies. Our friends came back for “just one more handful,” several times. It was surprisingly popular but I knew I could do better. In my book, peanut butter makes just about anything better and it proves true in this White Chocolate Peanut Butter Popcorn.

This is one of those recipes that doesn’t even feel like a recipe as it’s just so darn easy. In fact, my nine year old (she turns nine today, how is that possible?!) could easily make this. I’ve noted that this popcorn takes 15 minutes to create, but I’m guessing at least five of those is spent sitting there drumming your fingers on the countertop as you wait for the peanut butter drizzle to dry. Patience is not my virtue, but it’s required here to insure you don’t have a complete mess on your hands. Literally!

Because I have an infinite love for all things peanut butter, I’d also recommend thesedeliciouspeanut butter treats for snacking: Peanut Butter Cup Brownie Bites, Cheesecake Stuffed Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Egg Rolls.

This White Chocolate Peanut Butter Popcorn has become a favorite weekend treat at our house. I’ll make it early in the day on a Saturday and then just keep a big bowl on the counter for the six of us to graze on as we go about our day. My only complaint is that it disappears quickly!
The next time we have friends or family over, I’m dreaming of setting up a popcorn bar and including my White Chocolate Peanut Butter Popcorn, this Pantry Popcorn Mix, savory Old Bay Stovetop Popcorn and cheesy Rosemary Parmesan Popcorn. Such a fun and super easy way to entertain!
