These Sno-Cap Chocolate Ganache Brownies are decadence at it’s finest, my friends. A fudgy brownie base is studded with Sno-Cap nonpareil candies before being flooded with thick layer of chocolate ganache and adorned with additional candy.

I’ve had this recipe in my head since October. OCTOBER. My mom was visiting and we had stopped in Target for something – you know how that goes! – when I spied Sno-Caps on the end cap of the baking section. Immediately I’m thinking of snow covered looking brownies and after a test batch and a class of unsuspecting third graders who were my guinea pigs, these Sno-Cap Chocolate Ganache Brownies were given 50 thumbs up. (25 students x 2 thumbs each.) Technically the teacher also raved about them so they should be given a rating of 52 thumbs up.
These are the perfect winter version of my beloved One Bowl Chocolate Fudge Brownies, just dressed up a bit. Perfect for any holiday party or when you’re just needing the best chocolate fix ever! And really, the Sno-Caps make these brownies look so darn pretty! Word on the street is that my mother-in-law is a huge fan of nonpareils so I’m thinking I’ll be making yet another pan of these dreamy brownies when she visits for Christmas. Taking one for the team and all, right?
These Sno-Cap Chocolate Ganache Brownies are decadence at it’s finest, my friends. A fudgy brownie base is studded with Sno-Cap nonpareil candies before being flooded with thick layer of my Microwave Chocolate Ganache and adorned with additional candy. Basically it’s chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. Because if a little is good, a few more layers is absolutely delicious, right?
And seriously, how pretty would these look on a holiday sweets platter cozied up next to my Mocha Peppermint Crunch Cookies? I’ll answer that myself. They’d look amazing!
Now that I know that these Sno-Cap Chocolate Ganache Brownies lived up to the hype that I’d built up in my head, I’ve since stocked up on all the Sno-Cap candy I could find! The regular size you can easily find in any big box or grocery store and I found the large, dark chocolate variety on a recent trip to Trader Joe’s. Totally worth the extra stop!
