This Microwave Chocolate Ganache is my secret to making amazing desserts and an easy way to turn around a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. (Bonus points if you know that children’s book.) My sincere apologies for not drawing your attention to the amazing-ness that it is sooner. It’s just so insanely simple that I didn’t want you to laugh at me for sharing it with you. How easy, you ask? So easy that it uses just two ingredients, takes less than five minutes to prepare and comes together thanks to a microwave. A MICROWAVE, friends. I’ve never used that word in a recipe title ever. EVER.
I always have the ingredients for this Microwave Chocolate Ganache on hand. My favorite dark chocolate chips and whipping cream delivered to my doorstep each week by a local dairy. You simply add both the chocolate chips and whipping cream to a microwave safe bowl, microwave and whisk together. And of course, try to resist the urge to simply grab a spoon and devour the deliciousness you’ve just made.
This two ingredient Microwave Chocolate Ganache comes together in less than five minutes and is amazing on it’s own as a simple dip for fresh fruit and is equally amazing as the star ingredient in desserts such as my Black Bottom No Bake Cherry Cheesecake, Chocolate Covered Strawberry Ice Cream Tart and Sno-Cap Chocolate Ganache Brownies.
